As Long as it Takes
Two protective rings surround the scroll in this wedding piece. You can spin each multicolored ring to any position. The scroll itself is free floating in a casing half filled with the smaller pieces of broken glass. The whole unit is suspended by a “spit” type structure over a cauldron of the big pieces of broken glass, inspired by the columbian community celebrations called black pot gatherings. Around the base is written the blessing, “May your marriage last as long as it takes to put this glass back together”. Spinning around the ring with the floating scroll lands it in a different orientation each time while helping to tumble the glass pieces into even smaller pieces ensuring it will never be put back together again!
SELF CONTAINED, INDOOR: includes a section of door frame incorporated into the base of the piece so it can be displayed anywhere indoors - no doorway needed.
FREE STANDING, to be displayed on a table, shelf or pedestal.
DIMENSIONS: 13” tall, 4” wide, 4” deep
NOTE: Includes Kosher hand-scribed mezuzah scroll (klaf)
